Stumbled upon this restaurant after attempting to eat somewhere else. Seated quickly and easily accommodated my infant son sleeping in the stroller. Waitress patient and friendly. Salad and bread delicious. Pizza looked delicious. Shrimp scampi good but heavy on garlic, can still taste it the next day. As for the rest of our entrees, not the best. Chicken and eggplant parmigiana had what tasted like pizza sauce instead of a marinara and eggplan to was cut so thin it was I'd you were eating fried breadcrumbs. Chicken Marsala was more like mushrooms and basil over pasta. Overall not the worst food but stick with the pizza and salad.

This was recommended by the front desk at my hotel and it was great. The staff were all friendly and great food as well.

We ate here for lunch and the food was delicious. I got the deli stromboli which was delicious and my wife got the meatball sub which was also really good. They bring out fresh bread with oil, spices, and cheese which was the best part. The price was decent too. The only reason we gave four stars was because of the service. I would like to give three and a half stars but I typically round up if the food is really good. They had just opened and so the service shouldn't have been slow. Food came out quick but the staff seemed to have better things to do. May have just been an off day.

This place is a hidden gem in Myrtle Beach. Fresh ingredients, everything is made in house. Some of the best brick oven pizza I've ever had. The Caesar salad, Fried Lasagna, Malta Pizza and Amici Lovers Pizza were all AMAZING! Service was excellent to! Will definitely visit again.

Italian? I have never seen calamari that looks like cheese sticks. I can't imagine it being legit. The chicken on my chicken parmesean sandwich was really dry. Didn't taste fresh. The best part was the bread. The eagle french fries were actually my favorite part of the meal.

I work in an Italian restaurant who has a huge selection of pizzas, but the one we had here kicked all of those pizza's butts! We had the ricotta pizza in the large size. Three people shared this pizza and we still had a piece left over. The price for the pizza was very reasonable, and our server was excellent! His name was Kevin and he was very attentive, but not overly attentive, very kind, and he even made small talk with us! I cannot wait to come here again, i tried to convince my group to come here two days in a row to get pizza, but they all wanted to try something new. I would recommend to anyone!

My kids made sure I gave this five stars. Pizza - A+, shrimp Alfredo - A++. I had a pasta vodka that was simply delicious. The food tastes fresh, the service was friendly and very fast. We were super hungry so the quick service was a plus. Danielle was our server and she was not only highly competent but a sweetheart to boot. We are on vacation which ends tomorrow so this was the perf ct special meal to cap off a wonderful trip. Oh yeah, favorite part was the strolling accordion player. Love it!!

If you love cheese on your pizza you'll love this place. I almost always order extra cheese, but for some reason this time I decided to ask the cashier if she thought the pizzas came with enough as is. She said yes, and she was right! Price for one large pepperoni and mushroom pizza and one large soft drink $25 and change. Nice brick over flavor, nice and clean, only down side was my pizza was a bit salty. I think they may have sliced the pepperoni a bit thick, that will create a saltiness. Still good pizza.

Out of all the restaurants I visited on my vacation, this topped the charts! Many of the places to eat at Broadway are expensive, but this was my groups cheapest meal. First of all, our waiter, Kevin, was great! He was very kind and polite. For food, I first had a side house salad. The raspberry vinegarette was awesome and for a side salad, it was a generous size. Our table was also given complementary bread which tasted great. It was dressing in oil and cheese. I dipped it in the vinegarette left over from my salad. Now our pizza, amazing! We had the ricotta pizza and added chicken. Wasn't to greasy and tasted great. The restaurant itself was very clean and had an Italian atmosphere. Wish I was staying longer in myrtle beach so I could go again! Would highly recommend!!!

Really delicious pizza. Also enjoyed the meatball and chicken parm subs. Service was very friendly and attentive, and they even brought out complimentary birthday canollis for our son! Would recommend for anyone looking for tasty authentic Italian food.

We ate there around 5:00 on Sunday, which turned out to be the perfect time... much to our surprise. Our waitress was unbelievably good, and thoughtful. We'd definitely go back and order the pizza again.

Came here for lunch. Kids had a bacon pizza that they loved. We had the ricotta pizza and it was really good. Service was great. I wasn't expecting much but it was pretty comparable to NJ pizza. Would definitely come back.

Food was terrible and the place needs a make over. I was expecting more from a restaurant in Broadway.

  • Maribeth W.

Small place with nice, cozy ambience and great staff. Came during the lunch hour and there weren't a lot of people or any wait. I had the spaghetti and it was great. Overall it was a good experience.

  • alex m.

Not good. Calamari was rubber. Atleast 3 other diners had their plates go back. Waitress came to table 3 times the whole time we were there and the place was half empty.would not recommend this place. Especially with 20 other dining options nearby

Found this place through other Yelp reviews, otherwise I don't think I would have looked at it twice. Compared to all the shiny, over-the-top restaurants at Broadway on the Beach, this one is pretty modest looking. In fact, we almost didn't go in after seeing it because it just looked sort of meh on the outside. Remembering the great reviews, we decided to go in anyway. Wow, so glad we did! The portions are very generous, the prices are not bad considering they are located at the biggest tourist trap in Myrtle Beach, and they even had entertainment! An accordion player came out every 20 minutes to play a few tunes. Don't think I've heard an accordion player since I was a child! The staff was friendly and the service was great. No complaints on the food either. We decided to share stuffed shells and received four extra large shells. Along with that we had the toasted ravioli, eight little pieces of crunchy heaven. The Caesar salad was large and tasty. Would go again!

Hidden gem, a must in Myrtle. Top 5 place of mine to go. I highly recommend their Manicotti, I regretted not ordering it after tasting a bite.

Extremely good brick oven pizza. It's a family atmosphere. Very clean and excellent customer service. They even have a person playing the accordion.

They were so nice here. A reasonably priced meal, kid friendly, they bent over backwards to help us! The food was great, too!

  • Jeff S.

The Pizza was so so. Ordered the chicken marsala, and it was watery. Their cooks need to go back to school. Not worth the price, and not very Italian. You will be disappointed.

    (2)
  • Phillip S.

Service was good and if you come here, I would stick to the pizza. I ordered a ricotta pie for the table and it was very good. The Chicken Marsala on the other hand was not even average. As another reviewer mentioned, the sauce is like water and the dish overall is not seasoned properly if at all. It was virtually flavorless. My daughters did like their pasta dishes.

We went in a large group with five children, including an infant. It was a pleasant experience from the moment we walked in. The staff was welcoming and helped us settle in. The chef personally came out to serve his Friday specialty. To top it off, the owner came out to check up on us. It was a pleasure to meet a nice restaurant owner who is genuinely kind to his patrons. He told us how much he loves children and couldn't help himself when he saw kids at our table. The food was delicious and going to Amici's made it memorable!

Our family eats here every year when we visit Myrtle Beach. We look forward to it all year and are never disappointed. Delicious food, great service, and it's a family owned business. The pizza is fantastic.

  • Thomas T.

We stopped in on a whim - we needed to eat, and there they were. The diners outside had food that looked pretty good, so we went in. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our appetizer (lasagna fritta) had some funky tangy sauce on it that we didn't expect or care for. Our waitress, Chelsea, offered to have it remade without the sauce - much better the second time around. The pizza was fantastic - the sliced italian sausage was out of this world and the brick-oven baked the crust perfectly (not overdone like some places). My wife's fettucini alfredo was tasty as well. The meal cost more than what I would have hoped, but considering it's in a touristy area of a tourist town, it wasn't surprising. We're excited for lunch tomorrow as our leftovers wait in the fridge!

I think this is one of the few places still open since the Broadway opened 20+ years ago. Not fancy, but really consistent on the attentive service and food quality. Prices are very reasonable for lunch and they make a good pie.

We keep coming back. Never a bad experience. Pizza is always perfect cooked exactly how we like it.

  • Amanda B.

This place hit the spot when It came to the pizza. I love thin crust wood fired pizza. The inside of the restaurant was cute and the accordion player was a nice touch. Bs idea the pizza we got the breadsticks. They were all right I can't say that I would get them again. They tasted more like fried dough than bread sticks. The waiter was ok he didn't seem like he wanted to be there at all but he was decent enough. Overall a good experience and I would go back!

  • Richard M.

Ordered a 10" pizza. It was good....should have ordered the large instead I would go back to this place, the food on other tables looked & smelled great too.

Beware of the chicken parmesan. The chicken came out the consistency of rubber. Friendly wait staff and nice atmosphere kept the rating at 2 out of five.

Wonderful food and prices. Service was great as well. You can tell their vegis and meat are local.

Pizza was great, but even better the live accordion music! I got the traditional margarita pizza which was excellent!

  • Jon S.

It's two stars and not one because the waiter was very nice and his attentiveness was on point (aside from the fact that he brought out spaghetti when we asked for cavatappi). The bread they brought out was really good. This is when it fell apart, though. If you told me the tomato sauce on the pasta came straight out of a jar from a supermarket, I'd believe it. If you told me the pasta sauce was the same sauce that was on the pizza, I'd believe it. The meatballs that we ordered with the pasta were the worst offenders. Meatballs should FEEL like balls of meat. I felt like I was biting into squishy mystery balls. Did they process them into balls like playdoh after turning the meat into mush? The restaurant should really remove its Italian name and maybe call itself something more American, because their food is as Italian as Pizza Hut. I grew up in an Italian-American neighborhood in NYC. I don't know what South Carolina really has to offer when it comes to Italian (this is probably just a bad sample). But that doesn't excuse bad food.

    (2)
  • Tara K.

Pizza was meh. The real crime was the chicken marsala that I was served. You can't even call what was on it a sauce. I'm about 99 percent sure that it was gravy master mixed with water. If you're from the north and you know decent Italian/American food, this isn't the place for you. I just don't understand the rave reviews...

After just arriving in myrtle beach for the third time, I was at Broadway at the beach and having a difficult time looking for some place I had not been to eat that wasn't crazy expensive for something as mundane as a cheeseburger or a salad when I decided to try this place. Now I am a little late on my review so I don't remember the prices exactly but I believe they were very reasonable for the quality of food that was served. My friend and I both got Strombolis which were both amazing but I got the vegetarian Stromboli (I'm not a vegetarian but it sounded good) and it was one of the best things I have ever had and was a pretty big portion. It really hit the spot and I couldn't have been more thankful that we decided to give it a shot.

  • Michelle A.

Loved the staff and Ralph the accordian player but the food was lacking. I ordered the alfredo and it had so much minced garlic that I couldn't even eat a quarter of it. Even found a half clove while digging around in the sauce. My other guests said their food was really good, but mine lacked.

  • Will B.

Located at Broadway at the Beach, this place gets 4 Stars based solely on the food. My wife and I had the Fresh Mozzarella to start and then the brick-oven Margarita Pizza. Both were fantastic. Service was slow, but perhaps the waitress was having an off day. The roaming accordion play adds a nice vibe. The leftover pizza was good the next day, too. We waited almost a half-hour for our table, but that's to be expected during the summer months.

  • Alicia L.

Great pizza, pasta, and soup. Wasn't into the service so much. We had gnocci soup, which I had never had before, but I loved it. The pizza we got was also delicious along with the creamy pesto pasta. However the service we received wasn't the best. One of the busboys would take just one plate at a time even though we were clearly done with about 4 plates. Then he wouldn't return until 10 minutes later to take one more plate away. Service is what really brings down my experience even if the food is great usually. So, this place wasn't that impressive to me in the end. I'd do take out if I ever came here again.

  • Michael W.

Great pizza! The Amici Lover's was a very good pizza. I live in Chicago and this is very different, I would compare it to a NY style pie. I would eat here again and I highly recommend it to others.

  • John C.

We have been coming to Amici's for years both in season and over Easter break and they don't disappoint. We had amici pizza, fettucini Alfredo, lasagna, ckn parm. Kids love the bread with olive oil and garlic. Everything was spot on and Shane was a very attentive server. Once again well done.

  • Ben H.

Good food, and a little more like a local restaurant. It's a lot more casual for a Broadway at the Beach food place but its great to just sit down in shorts and not feel like you're underdressed. The food is very much like any little Italian local place.

  • Dustin D.

Let's be concise and fast. My companion and I were swiftly seated even without reservations. The furniture was comfortable and clean. Our waitress was an expert, able to suggest to me items that I would enjoy. Our wine came fast and it was both reasonably priced and reasonably decent. The strombolis were very good for their price. They wouldn't compete with a famous chef's 3 Michelin star outfit, but what would? The food was more than adequate. The service was more than adequate. We left quite satisfied. Fantastic. Don't let the exterior deceive you. It looks ridiculous, but that is the appearance that any shop at The Broadway at the Beach must adopt - a ridiculous facade, to draw attention to itself. Every restaurant here is a monument to marketing, a monolith of classless exhibitionism. In such a tourist-dominated arena, attention MUST be grabbed. So, the exterior of this restaurant does its part and draws people in. What causes you to stay in is the fresh fish entrees and the excellent food. Even in this place, this Myrtle Beach, there are still good restaurants staffed by people who value the quality of the customer experience. There are still waiters and managers who will go above and beyond their call of duty to make you feel special. Landry's is one of these places. It competes with Liberty Steakhouse, Key West Grill -- all of these bombastic expressions of calculated consumerist design. But inside, this restaurant is a solid seafood exhibition. You won't find anything better for the price. This is no Phillips, this is no "Eat at Joes." It's not a mirage - this is legitimately good food. Hear my impassioned plea - go here with your money. Regret nothing. Live well. Enjoy true cuisine.

Extremely surprising given the location! My extremely picky 14 yr old, declared this the best pizza she's ever had! Not sure I am quite that exuberant, but it was really good! As was the service, the Caesar salad, the homemade (?) bread and wonderful dipping oil/seasoning. Good size glass of wine and reasonable prices. I would go back next time I'm in MB. We also sampled the pizza from Little Amicis (more of a fast food option), and it was delicious!

  • Aly K.

This was a family-run restaurant with all homemade, delicious, and belly-filling foods. I would choose this cozy spot on the strip over any of the Corporate-owned spots every day of the week! I can't wait to go back to SC to eat here again! Between 4 people we shared 2 small pizzas and had 2 salads with extra food left over, and our waiter, who was from NJ, was kind, funny, and courteous!

We had a softball dinner at the site where our server Jake took care of 25 hungry college ballplayers and their families. Even now, I hope that I have the right location as there are two in the Broadway at the Beach mall. Still, the food was great, and the coach bus driver knew where to go, but several families had to call, and were directed to this great little Italian restaurant with wine/beer for the tired stragglers. Several varieties of pasta, some vegetarian options and three different salads greeted us after Jake got us all set up in a private room overlooking the zipline and very hungry bass in the lagoon. We ate terrifically well, many of us had seconds and truthfully it was the best meal I had in a restaurant except for the BBQ at the Piggly on Highway in a gas station mallette. Thanks We will be back.

I smelled the pizza as I was walking to Wonderworks and had to double back to eat! I'm glad I did. I had a great thin crust pizza with spinach, tomatoes, feta and mozzarella. Besides the cap being loose on the crushed peppers when I went the shake them on my final slice it was a good dining experience.

Amongst the overcrowded touristy restaurants we stumbled across Amici's, I mean who is never in the mood for pizza? We were taken right away and got a nice booth by the window. The waiting service was really nice here, always checking on how we were doing without that overbearing feeling. We went for a pretty safe large cheese pie and it was absolutely delicious! I am from NYC, where there is a pizzeria just about everywhere and I can be a bit uneasy when having Italian/pizza outside of the city, but Amici's did not disappoint. I kinda felt like I was eating a NYC style pizza! The large was too much for 2 of us to split in one sitting so we boxed the rest and took it home. You know you have good pizza when it taste good hot and cold! Affordable, tasty, nice setting, and friendly people. Anytime I come back to Myrtle Beach I will definitely stop by Amici's!

  • Richard N.

Going to Amici's during each MB trip has become tradition for our family. By coincidence, we have had the same waitress (Gabby) for the last 3 yrs and she is GREAT. The food is consistently amazing. I have got the Tortellini Michelangelo more than any other dish and it never waivers in flavor. Simply amazing. The pastas are home made, even the kids ravioli meal. The homemade house salad dressing is also a winner. The homemade pasta sauces are slap your mamma good. Give me a spoon and I would eat the sauce for a meal. Avoid all the tourist traps and come here for a great meal.

I had lunch here with my family. The restaurant was clean and the A.C. was a nice escape! The waiter was extremely nice! Very quite, food was large portions for lunch and very good value for the price. I had the lasagna and was very pleased to have something that had a lot of flavor! The ricotta cheese appeared to have been loaded with some type of herb that was pure heaven in my mouth and the entire dish was smothered in cheese. The waiter keep our drinks refilled, coo'd over my baby girl, and we left very happy with our dining choice for lunch! Highly recommend!

Brick oven pizza was good. Lots of differant choices. My wife got the eggplant parm, sauce was great and so was the eggplant. We didn't get the breadsticks appitizer, but they looked great too, we all wished we did. Nice little place, we went for lunch and thr prices were good too. To be able to come here, get good food and pay less than a burger and fires at johnny rockets, what a way to go.

I really was not impressed. Our server was not really available, though she was very nice when she finally came around. I think that because it was a slow night, she was put on cleaning or organization projects (at least she wasn't on her cell phone!). I ordered the caprese salad, which was a major mistake. I admit a little bit of blame, since I should have known better than to order any dish with fresh tomatoes in October, but it wasn't the mealy tomatoes that made me push my plate away. The mozzarella was the kind that comes out of a sausage tube, flavorless and dry. Note to Amici's: Most foodservice providers (Sysco, US Foods, etc) also have buckets of mozzarella preserved in brined whey for only pennies more than the garbage you are serving. The plating/presentation was nice, though. The rest of the meal improved, but not enough to save the night. We ordered the linguine with creamy pesto, and the penne with vodka sauce. Both dishes were decent, but not great. We may go back to give it another try, there are several other Italian restaurants in the Myrtle Beach area that just have it together a little bit better.

Nice looking place at first. Waited at front door for awhile before getting the attention of the host. Waiter seemed unprofessional but friendly enough. Salads were large and fresh but the margherita pizza we ordered tasted like, well, nothing. Not garlic, not cheese, not tomatoes, not basil, not crust, literally nothing. It was so weird! When asked how the food was, we were honest and said it was very bland. We asked for garlic and were given some, but that was it. They didn't ask if there was anything they could do or if we wanted something else. Thoroughly disappointed and will never ever return.

Had a great break for lunch at Amici's. I'm always a bit leery and usually disappointed in tourist traps, but this one did not disappointed. My son was getting crabby so we asked the waiter if they had something fast we could get and he had the breadsticks at our table on no time. We had calzones and kids pizza. The calzones were big and full of toppings. The pizza was a good size for even an adult portion and was yummy. Best of all, the prices were reasonable. The calzones were enough to feed two people and were $9.95. Great service too. Definitely will go back if we are at Broadway at the Beach.

  • KK C.

This place is great! The mozzarella sticks are huge and delic, the salad was tasty and my chicken parmigana was excellent not to mention it was a very big portion. The service was ok, there were 6 of us so I have to give the waiter a bit of credit since my family can be a bit demanding. We will definitely go back the next time we are in Myrtle Beach!

So we went here with a large group of people. Positive, they had plenty of seating and the waitress had split all off our checks for us. They brought bread to the table. It was pretty good. Nice flavor. Nice texture. The best part of dinner. The waitress was only ok, I only mention this because with large groups (10+) we tend to be a little more involved. We had to get her attention to order she was never too far behind when we needed something but she was not anticipating our needs. So as I decided between several pasta dishes and pizza, I figured I would go with the pizza since it was in the name and they did have a pizza oven. The crust and overall all pizza was pretty bland and that was even with lots flavorful toppings. The toppings were not top of the line. It seemed like they were cooked for a pasta dish and put on top of the pizza and baked. They were very weird, and I had peppers and onions and some sort of meat. I must say that a couple of people ordered the pasta house specials. They looked really good for what it is worth. When my pizza was delivered I was thinking I should have ordered one of them. Maybe it would have been better. Maybe.

Nice pizza place to eat at. The staff is friendly and the level of service is relative to the type of place this is and the prices you pay. I had a mozzarella and ricotta calzone which was excellent and the crust had a great taste and texture to it. My fiancé had the Philly cheese steak Stromboli and loved it too. Might go back again before my vacation is over.

  • Lynn K.

Stick with the pizza and you will be fine. It is reasonably priced and the cheese and pepperoni pizzas we had were good. The service was fine. One of the kids at our table spilled his soda twice and they cleaned it up both times and did not complain. Actually they should have given them tighter tops on their cups. They did not fit tight enough which created the problem but they brought a fresh drink both times. The meat ball subs were just ok......so if you are hungry for pizza and a nice restaurant for families with kids this is a good choice. The brick ovens cook the pizza quickly and the kids loved watching the staff toss their pizza.

  • Iowa C.

Very good pizza, the service was ok, I also had a bowl of their soup and that with the cheese bread appetizer just about made me full, I was only able to eat one peice of pizza after that. Food was very good, prices were great. We had pizza left over for breakfast the next day. :) We will go back when in town.

Loved the pizza! I moved to NC from CT, where we have access to good NY-style pizza. There's no good pizza in Charlotte...ok, the jury is still out but I have yet to find a place I love. But while in MB for the weekend, we checked out Amici's because a friend recommended the food. Yummy pizza. Sausage was handcut and flavorful, cheese and sauce were great. I don't usually eat the crust but Amici's crust is crisp, thin and tasty. Service was also great. Only issue - the restaurant needs to serve better wine. What's good Italian without great wine? See you soon, Amici!

If I could give this place less than a zero, I would. Let me start by saying that I am pizza cook in a restaurant in VA. And when I saw the word brick oven I was happy to eat some good pizza. What a mistake. I ordered the vegg pizza And when the waitress brought to us in a tray, the pizza crust was wet and saggy. We tried one bite each and we asked for it to go just to throw it in the trash outside this nasty restaurant. Paid 32$ including tip for nothing. Horrible pizza. Don't order it or stay away from it all together.. You will save yourself the money and the anger that you will have after eating their pizza. Pizza hut is way more better and I will leave at that.

Great food. The calzones and Stromboli are great. The pasta and sandwiches are also decent. The ravioli is just frozen ones that they have baked off. I was really hoping they would be homemade. It's cheap as well. Avoid the pricey tourist trap across the street and eat here instead

I was on a field trip with my students and we came in for lunch. The staff and owners were so nice and accomodating. They brought out 5 different calzones, pasta, salad and canolis for dessert. The food was amazing! They even boxed up our left overs and sent it home with us. It was an amazing lunch and I will definately be back next time I am in myrtle beach.

This place has become a family tradition to go to while we are at the beach. We had the same waitress 4 years in a row but sadly found out tonight she wasn't there anymore. The food is great! I had the deli Stromboli and it was perfect! I highly recommend this place as a great family dinner idea! Oh and I can't forget about the accordion player! He was amazing as well and really nice!

Had a nice lunch here. Loved the mozzarella fritto. So ooey-gooey and the marinara was chunky and fresh. Mom had a ham and cheese calzone that was huge and perfectly stuffed all the way to the edges and The crust was thin and crispy, not all doughy. I had the tortellini Amici (minus shrimp) and it was a tangy, delicious blend of flavors. The service from the front door and back out again was impeccable. If you can, get a seat by the window so you can watch the boats and the zip-liners.

Came here as a recommendation from our concierge, and was a bit concerned that there'd be a wait, and we were wrong. No wait ! Had the mozzarella fritta for an appetizer and we are looking forward to our Ricotta Pizza for dinner. They have an accordion player playing here while we're having dinner, wonderful experience.

This was the 4th time dining at Amici's and I love their food and service until tonight. I was prepared to give them four stars. We made reservations for 4 and a baby, the lady on the phone didn't tell me the stroller rule they have. It is against fire code for them to have strollers at the tables. No biggy, left the stroller at the front and it was 15 minutes before our waiter took our drink orders, another 15 minutes to bring the drinks and appetizers. They were crowded but our guy kept going by our table like we were not even there. We got the fried mozzarella and it was ok. My wife ordered the fettuccine and we ordered the buffalo pizza and napoli pizza. The chicken on the pizza was a little dry for my liking and the sauce could have been spicier in my opinion. The napoli was good. It took another 10 minutes for our waiter to bring us the check at the end of our meal and then he disappeared again and the hostess finally came over and took it and the waiter came back and gave the impression as if we didn't pay. I am very frustrated because the previous meals and service was good. I won't swear them off now, but they only get one more chance. They seemed understaffed tonight during dinner time, go figure?!

I found this place after searching for places to eat on Yelp. I'm so glad my fiancé, son and I checked it out. It's really hard to find good Italian food, especially when traveling in the south. We were quickly greeted and sat. They have great views if you sit further back in the restaurant that overlooks the marina. The place was steady and we didn't have to wait. However, I could see there being a wait if you would go for dinner. They were extremely kid friendly and made sure to ask us where we wanted to sit. Our server was great. However she did become very busy with a huge party. That didn't stop us from getting great service. They seem to work really well as a team. Our server did check back from time to time. We ordered my son the hotdog and fries, which was a huge portion. My fiancé and I split the breadsticks which were phenomenal. However, we wouldn't have ordered the breadsticks if we knew they were going to give us their house bread. We both ordered the 6" personal pizzas which are brick oven made and delicious! I would definitely recommend the pizza! Overall, great food and fantastic service! I would highly recommend this place.

This place was delicious! A change of pace in the midst of all of the chain style restaurants. Ma and pa style. The waiter was extremely friendly and helpful. The breadsticks were phenomenal, all of the dressings are homemade, and everyone's food was delicious as well. We tried the baked penne, Stromboli, stuffed shells, and vodka pasta. All very good

There were 16 of us and they accommodated us just fine, including five separate tabs. The bread was really good, so good that it was all my toddler wanted to eat! I ordered the eggplant parmesan...pretty good, but I thought the sauce on the spaghetti it came with was a bit tangy. Side salad...average and nothing to boast about. We did have to keep asking the waitress for refills on our drinks. Spent $80 for our family of five, tip included, and enough leftovers to feed us all for breakfast.

Amici's Brick Oven Italian Bistro is located in the 'Broadway At The Beach' complex. Friends and I chose this restaurant for dinner since some of the other places at 'Broadway At The Beach' were more pricey. The menu at Amici's had your typical Italian entrée options, most priced in the $15 to $20 range. I ordered the Chicken Picatta, which was full of flavor and served over spaghetti. The other entrées ordered at our table included Eggplant Parmesan, Pasta Amici, and Lasagne. All were good. The sausage in the Penne alla Calabria was a bit too spicy for one person, but otherwise they said the dish was really good. Dinner was served with Italian flat bread and a dinner salad. Service was good. And though our group of eight arrived right before 9 PM, we weren't rushed to finish our meals before closing time. No problem in asking for separate checks. Gratuity of 18% was added to each check since we were in a large group.

The Pizza was so so. Ordered the chicken marsala, and it was watery. Their cooks need to go back to school. Not worth the price, and not very Italian. You will be disappointed.

    (3)
  • Danielle T.

Good food, and a little more like a local restaurant. It's a lot more casual for a Broadway at the Beach food place but its great to just sit down in shorts and not feel like you're underdressed. The food is very much like any little Italian local place.

  • Melencia J.

  • Linda J.

Very good pizza, the service was ok, I also had a bowl of their soup and that with the cheese bread appetizer just about made me full, I was only able to eat one peice of pizza after that. Food was very good, prices were great. We had pizza left over for breakfast the next day. :) We will go back when in town.

Great atmosphere, kind and friendly staff, EXCELLENT food. It's location is a bit off the path at the Broadway, so you might miss it. Great experience. Recommend.

Maybe.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
